We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join a team as a Registered Manager responsible for a children’s home in a county in South East England.
There are 5 positions available with 5 different services.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Ensure all residents have a dynamic support plan which involves the person and their safety.
- Lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the homes, and resources effectively.
- Relate and support young people in vulnerable circumstances.
- Budget and/or financial management, including filling voids.
- Self-audit the services, in line with legislation and policies.
- Liaise and establish quality working relationships with the families and professionals.
Personal Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a management capacity in residential children’s homes within the last 5 years.
- Experience of working with young people with complex needs in a Residential or supported living setting.
- A Diploma level 5 qualification in leadership and Management in residential Childcare is essential
- A Professional Social Worker qualification or the willingness to study towards it is desirable.
- Good understanding of Social care and Accommodation services.
Working Hours: 37 – Sleep in (if required in extreme circumstances). Participation in the Managers On Call rota.
Salary: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per annum
Relocation expenses up to £8,000 + other great benefits.
