Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst for our client a local government organisation in Guildford.
This role is a 12 month initial contract with the possibility to extend. This role is hybrid working.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Work closely with the Project Manager and subject matter experts from the service areas concerned to achieve the Project’s goals.
- Identify and undertake all necessary business analysis tasks including gaining a solid understanding of current processes and pain points, user needs analysis and requirements elicitation, developing ‘to be’ processes.
- Document and communicate your findings and ideas to the project team, service, and other stakeholders.
- Work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Shape and evaluate options as part of business case development.
- Research how comparable authorities/companies deliver similar services.
Personal Requirements:
- A proactive, self-starter with a commitment to continuously improve services for residents.
- Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and use insights to shape smarter strategies.
- A strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local government.
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally in public sector or transformation settings .
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high pressured environment, managing conflicting priorities
Working Hours: 37hrs / 9:00am – 17:00pm / Monday to Friday
Pay: Negotiable
