Positive Employment is currently recruiting an experienced Fleet Service Advisor to work for our client based in Enfield.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • In conjunction with the Fleet Operations Manager and workshop supervisor to provide high quality fleet repairs for the company’s vehicle fleet and equipment holding
  • To liaise with internal customers where required, to arrange Service Level Agreements meetings to enable service provision and service standards to be set and monitored, highlighting to the Fleet Operations Manager
  • This role will be responsible for ensuring all vehicle and equipment assets are recorded correctly in vehicle and equipment data base
  • To be the first point of contact for workshop supplier’s queries and service queries to the fleet department and workshops
  • To complete all scheduling for vehicles, ride on equipment, all parks equipment ensuring internal customers receive timely notification of inspection, service and MOT appointments. Liaise with external service providers to ensure MOTs and booked to align with MOT/service bookings in the fleet workshop
  • As the fleet Service Advisor, you will be responsible for high levels of data accuracy within the fleet vehicle workshop and asset base and workshop software, which the company will rely upon to manage its vehicles, costings and maintenance records for the internal vehicle / equipment users
  • To liaise with the fleet vehicle database users for regular contract meetings ensuring any database concerns are dealt with or are escalated to the Fleet Operations manager
  • To submit regular data on vehicle downtime and repair costings, and repair trends
  • To monitor analyse and provide detailed vehicle and equipment maintenance costs to the fleet operations Manager to enable financial monitoring of the fleet budget on a monthly and annual basis in readiness for budget setting


  • Substantial experience of working in a fleet / workshop environment
  • Substantial experience of working with a fleet/workshop data base and maintaining detailed records
  • Proven experience of developing quality systems to ensure the delivery of efficient support to internal
  • and external customers
  • Experience in a commercial vehicle environment
  • Experience of dealing with and monitoring external suppliers
  • To be competent using IT systems especially in a workshop environment
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to adapt to changing working environment to meet customer needs
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal customers
  • Enhanced DBS

Working hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

This is a Temporary role but could possibly become permanent
